B.o.B. vs Bobby Ray

B.o.B. aka Bobby Ray is an interesting new artist from ATL with tons of talent. XXL Magazine included him in the 2009 freshman class with Wale, Kid Cudi, Asher Roth, Mickey Factz, and a few other young artists with potential to blow up the hip hop scene. He composes, writes, raps, and produces, which is rarely seen these days. Usually there is the artist singing/ rapping lyrics written by a ghostwriter over a beat produced by a producer/composer. So, I guess B.o.B. is everything rolled into one. His music has a smooth vibe and reminds me of a cross between Gnarls Barkley, Slum Village, the Nappy Roots, and some other intangible artistic factor. Hopefully he will get some shine based on the strength of this mixtape.

Here are a couple songs off the mixtape. Download at your leisure.

Here is the link to download the whole mixtape. Appearances from Kanye West, T.I., Asher Roth, OJ Da Juice Man, and a few others.
